Fire Safety Plans for Ontario Properties

Sterling Safety prepares site-specific Fire Safety Plans for commercial, residential, industrial and assembly properties throughout Toronto and the GTA.

We help property owners, property managers and businesses understand their fire safety responsibilities and prepare clear, practical documentation tailored to the actual building.

From the initial site assessment and floor-plan drawings through preparation of the plan and support during Fire Department review, we can manage the process from start to finish.

Service Overview

Our Fire Safety Plan Process

01: Site Assessment

We visit the property to review the building layout, occupancy, exits, fire protection systems, utility shutoffs and other information required for the plan.

02: Plan Preparation

A building-specific Fire Safety Plan is prepared based on the property and applicable Ontario Fire Code requirements.

03: Fire Safety Drawings

Where required, drawings can identify exits, fire alarm equipment, extinguishers, sprinkler equipment, utility shutoffs and other relevant fire protection features.

04: Emergency Procedures

The plan includes emergency procedures and responsibilities for occupants, supervisory staff and building management as applicable.

03: Submission & Revision Support

Sterling Safety can assist with preparing the plan for Fire Department review & addressing comments or requested revisions within the agreed project scope.
